Methil is in Wemyss
Parish. The
burgh established in 1891 was originally named the "Burgh of Buckhaven,
Methil and Innerleven" in recognition of what were originally three
separate villages.
Restored wall tiles salvaged from an old Co-op Building in Methil.
Now on display at Methil Heritage Centre, they depict the town's harbour
in its heyday.
