| A coastal town on the Firth of Forth in the
Parish of Scoonie. It lies at the mouth
of the River Leven and forms a large urban area with the neighbouring
burghs of Methil and Buckhaven.
The settlement of Innerleven (also known as Dubbieside) faces the town
on the opposite bank of the River Leven.
