William Mercer

William Mercer married Helen Drummond on 06/May/1588.

He was a notary public and burgess of Perth in 1607. By 1619 he was Procurator Fiscal.

On 31/Oct/1632 he received the Charter of Potterhill from Lord Dupplin.

William died in 1635.

His son, James Mercer, who had no children, sold Potterhill to a relative, John Mercer (who is not yet included on this site), on 15/May/1639.
